CAD and 3D Modeling Help and Instruction
May 23 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm EDT
The use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software is an essential maker skill. CAD designs are required to make things with 3D printers and CNC machines; however, it can be useful when planning any project. If you have just gotten your sign off on the 3D printers or other CNC machines, this is a great place to start.
This is not an intro class. This is an opportunity to obtain CAD project guidance, instruction on using the features of your CAD software, and help with the design and manufacture of YOUR projects. Come with questions, 3D models, and your project idea.
Software: Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk inventor, Onshape, Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Sculptris, Unity Game Engine, V Carve, and RDWorks (laser cutter software).
